Clean undyed lapis with lukewarm soapy water. Test dyed materials to see how they react to water before cleaning. Wipe them with a soft cloth and store them dry, in a separate bag or box where they can neither scratch nor be scratched by other jewelry. It is not recommended to leave the stone in water for extended periods of time due to its porous nature. Avoid contact with household chemicals, lotions, cosmetics, and hair spray. Take off your jewelry before swimming, strenuous activities, or going into a hot tub or swimming pool. Saltwater, chlorine, and sweat can damage your jewelry and erode the gemstones’ finish and polish. Avoid ultrasound and steam cleaners!

Store your pieces separately, it will avoid pieces knocking together.

If needed visit a local jeweler once a year for a professional cleaning with ultrasonic.
